BACKGROUND

Ilan has practiced at the Brisbane Bar since 2009 predominantly in Succession Law. He regularly appears in mediations, the District and Supreme Court of Queensland & other Courts. He is a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) Queensland Committee & The Bar Association of Queensland Succession & Elder Law Committee. He has lectured for College of Law as part of the Master of Laws (Wills & Estates) including WEP5 – Contest Probate and other court applications, WEP4 – Family Provision and WEP2 – Law and Practice of Estates. He is recommended for Estate Litigation by Doyles (2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023).
