Edward Jensen

BACKGROUND

Ed was called to bar during May 2022, following seven years as a solicitor.

Ed primarily practices within the field of personal injuries and insurance.  He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in Compulsory Third Party, workers’ compensation and public liability matters.

Since being called to the bar, Ed has appeared in numerous contested applications and trials, including:-

• Carlyle v Queensland Law Society [2023] QCAT 161 – junior counsel for the applicant;
• HL v HR [2024] QDC 126 – counsel for the plaintiff/respondent;
• Lundbergs v Fu [2025] QSC 135 – junior counsel for the defendant;
• Bauer v Clay [2025] QSC 144 – junior counsel for the plaintiff.
